DE > Asfast (aka Leon Leder), erkundet durch seine Arbeit die Grenzgebiete, die sich zwischen der elektronischen Clubmusik, Ambient und Musik, „made for nowhere“, befinden. Dabei erschafft Leon Leder eine Balance aus präziser Reduktion und kontrastiert Minimalismus mit maximalem Drone. Er lebt und arbeitet in Wien; 2017 veröffentlichte er sein wurde „Peace In Drifts“ auf dem Wiener Label Ventil Records veröffentlicht.
EN > In his work, Asfast (aka Leon Leder), explores the boundaries between electronic music played in a club, ambient and electronic music produced for the middle of nowhere. Using field recordings, instrument recordings, as well as digital and analogue sound processors, Asfast‘s focuses on producing sound that is both reduced and pushed to its maximum. Born and raised in Graz, he is now based in Vienna.
